You wanna play bass huh? Awesome. One of the best complete sets you can get is the Squier "Stop Dreaming, Start Playing" Jazz Bass package. It comes with everything you need. And it's a great bass. From there, learning from youtube is easy. Playing bass is easy. But start by learning to play with your middle/index fingers, then learn to play with a pick.
