is that too much to ask

It’s my first super-rainy London day. I went to Spitalfields market and came home to do homework and watch Doctor Who for a few hours. I wish someone would bring me empanadas. Are there any Spanish food places that deliver around here? I need to find out.

Morgan (my flatmate) and I decided to skip the design show today. It’s the first time we decided NOT to do something since we’ve been here, and I think that it’s good for our health.

I know it’s really early in the states right now, so good morning to you guys. :]

WOAH LONDON UPDATE

it is like straight up hurricane outside. I went to a cafe round the corner and was watching people out the window struggling with their umbrellas. I just chuckled and thought how I should bring my sketchbook down to draw them, but then I went outside and WOAH I really thought that I was going to blow away in the wind. They’ll find me on a farm in Wales tomorrow with no memory of what happened, talking about Oz and Wicked Witches.

• last night I went to a pub with a friend of a friend that I’ve never met, and all of her friends were super nice
• one of her friends sings in a band and the band has a beatboxer instead of a drummer
• aforementioned singer was very hilarious and also he saved his number in my phone wrong
• pub culture is really very funny and interesting
• sometimes I have no idea what these people are saying
• I am really short and should probably invest in some taller shoes
• I kind of look like i’m 16 but no one seems to care here
• I have to wash my hair and clothes in the sink because the water in my flat is super weird
• is it always this windy here?
• everyone thinks my name is Mikki and I’m not sure why like what girl’s name is that short for
• oh maybe Micaela
• anyway I’m gonna go search for a comic store in soho (london has a soho too!) see you later love you bye bye bye

i promised myself that i would draw thesis concepts and also clean and do yoga today

i did none of those things but i also kind of knew that i wouldn’t be doing anything today soo0o…tomorrow! :]
